Pet/house-sitting - the movie “Sharknado” was capturing their attention.

And now an important MVS update. After much discernment, Lleyton has decided that he will not be returning to Tucson after Christmas. There were a lot of factors at play in this situation, and I affirm and respect his decision. However, I have enjoyed getting to know Lleyton these past months and am sad to see him go. MVS will look a little different starting in January but I am still anticipating a fun and meaningful last few months!

I am feeling uninspired to write much this month. I have felt unusually occupied both physically and mentally. I also have a lot of AMBS classwork to get done today (I plan on writing a final reflection on my class in my December newsletter)! To close, I’ll share a few things on my horizon.

Things I am looking forward to in the near future:

• My family (parents and younger brother) are visiting me the week of Christmas! I am excited to show them around Tucson and the Grand Canyon.

• I am running a marathon on December 14! Training has been pretty intense this month and I am ready to run the race and take a break.

• SOOP’ers arrive in January. I love having our parking lot full of RV’s and new people!

I am about to schedule-send this post and go look over the hymns I have chosen to lead this Sunday at church for the first week of advent.
